What We Do

It was 2015 when Paulette Perhach made herself a spreadsheet. In college, to get out of taking a foreign language, she took computer classes instead. Her final project was a business plan in Excel that was 200 pages when printed.

Data analysis is not a skill often found in the creative writing world. But after Paulette realized during Peace Corps that she wanted to be a creative writer and reporter and a freelancer, she knew she’d have to stay organized to get it all done. (She also did finally learn Spanish.)

Today, that spreadsheet has grown to The Writer’s Mission Control Center — A piece of software that keeps hundreds of writers from having to re-invent the wheel of their own spreadsheets.

Our goal is to help writers get published and get paid as quickly and easily as possible (because being a writer is anything but quick and easy).

It’s for creative writers, freelancers, and anyone who wants to make a life or a living with words.
